Lothian Mechanical Handling Ltd (LMH) is a family run business based in Blackburn West Lothian.

Established in 1980 by Les Ferris (MD) the company has increased over the years and now employs 20 staff in areas of sales, service, hire, parts, transport and administration.

LMH Ltd is ideally situated off Junction 4 of the M8 Motorway which enables us to access all the major motorway networks in central Scotland and reduce travelling time to customers.

LMH Ltd is the sole Scottish distributor for the Japanese fork truck manufacturer TCM.  Toyo Carrier Manufacturing (TCM) innovated the first Japanese fork truck in 1949 and to-date has worldwide manufacturing plants and distribution networks supplying end users.

At LMH Ltd we offer a range of services from new & used fork truck sales and also fork attachments for all makes of fork lift trucks.

We have an extensive hire fleet of around 400 trucks all available on a range of hire terms from

one day hire to long term hires.  Our fleet of trucks range from diesel, gas and electric including

warehouse equipment with varying specifications and lift heights.

Our service department currently has 8 service engineers covering Scotland and our service vans

carry a wide range of service and repair parts to ensure a reduced down time for customers trucks.

Our parts department carry a wide range of parts for various makes of fork trucks, we also run

RTITB driver training courses to ensure the safe operation of equipment.
